
St. Petersburg student arrested for bringing gun to school
The sixteen-year-old was arrested at Northeast High for having as gun in his backpack. The student didn’t make any threats or display the firearm, police say.

The release follows a pardon from President Trump, who said he believed Hernández was set up and that Hondurans had asked for his release.
Florida Legislature could create specialty license plate for the UFC
Under the proposed bill, motorists would pay a $25 fee for the plate. Money raised would go to the UFC Foundation to support Florida charities and nonprofit organizations.

Florida approves proposal to expand its “agricultural disparagement” law
The proposal would expand the law, which allows farmers to pursue damages for “willful or malicious” public dissemination of false information about perishable food items not being safe for human consumption, to all agricultural products.
