For 58 years, Bucs assistant Tom Moore has been in the NFL.

That is a run that not many people achieve at a regular job, let alone one as cut-throat as the NFL. And yet, the renowned quarterback coach turned long-time assistant has found sustained success working with the best players in the history of the NFL, such as Peyton Manning and Tom Brady.

Now, in 2025, the 87-year-old assistant for the Bucs is being honored post-game with game balls, and his importance is as high as ever. While talking to the media, head coach Todd Bowles was asked about the importance of Moore to the team. He explained, “It’s great to have him back. He’s been gone for a couple weeks now for some personal reasons, but at the same time, to have him back and his advice for everybody – he helps me out a great deal in the morning as well – and he deserved a game ball.”

Moore has been a mainstay with the Bucs, and he is a player favorite among the staff. While we aren’t sure when he last received a game ball, we do know this may not be the last one for the assistant.
