PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. (CBS12) — Drivers in Palm Beach County are being urged to avoid PGA Boulevard Wednesday afternoon following a major road closure caused by police activity.
According to Florida 511, all westbound lanes of PGA Boulevard are closed from Campus Drive to beyond Lake Victoria Gardens Avenue.
The incident was first reported at 12:46 p.m. and updated at 12:49 p.m., with authorities labeling the situation as major severity, according to Florida 511. The closure affects a key stretch of roadway in Palm Beach Gardens, and traffic delays are expected to ripple through surrounding areas.
