Several rounds of rain begin tomorrow for Tallahassee, the Big Bend and South Georgia

  • December 3, 2025

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – After an extremely dry few months across North Florida and South Georgia, several rounds of rain are expected in the coming days.

Tonight and tomorrow:

A dry and chilly overnight with partly cloudy skies. Temperatures will fall into the low 40s and upper 30s.

Thursday is a big day for WCTV and the community. Kindness Day runs from 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. If you plan on joining us early in the day, temperatures will be in the 30s and 40s during the morning before sunrise.

By the afternoon, temperatures will not warm much. Highs will likely be in the upper 50s to low 60s with mostly cloudy skies.

There is a good chance for showers during the afternoon and evening. Plan on bringing the jacket to stay warm, but also the rain gear as rain approaches the area. The rain chance is at 60%.

Friday’s rain chance:

A warm front lifts into the area on Friday morning, bringing a warm and humid airmass into the region. This may break the clouds up a little. Any heating will fuel the thunderstorm chance in the afternoon. There could be a few stronger storms if the sun comes out. Otherwise, showers and a few thunderstorms are expected throughout your Friday, especially in the afternoon. The chance of rain is 60%.

More showers this weekend:

Saturday and Sunday, the front will slide to our south, but we will be close enough to the stalled front that overrunning showers and clouds will stick around. This is often a light to moderate persistent rain.

It will not be raining ALL day, but there are going to be times when it is gray and wet outside. This will keep temperatures in the 60s.

Cooler and drier next week.
