JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – I hope you will join me weekdays at 10 a.m. on News4JAX+ for my new streaming show!
I’m really excited about this opportunity to have deeper conversations with guests we invite on the show.
I’ll also bring you the top local news stories of the morning, and Katie Garner will join me with your weather forecast.
For those of you who don’t know me, I grew up on the Southside of Jacksonville. My father is from Mandarin.
Morning Show anchor Jennifer Waugh was raised on the Southside and grew up watching Channel 4 news. (Jennifer Waugh family photos)
I was raised watching Channel 4 news. It was a dream come true when I was hired to work here nearly 29 years ago.
While I have covered nearly every one of the major news stories that have happened here during the last three decades (almost), I have also raised my family here.
My husband and I have been married for 25 years. We tied the knot in Neptune Beach.

This is where we wanted our children to grow up. We have loved being part of this community.
We’ve taught our kids to ride their bikes on the beach, watched them skip to school and prayed as they pulled out of our driveway as first-time drivers.
Family is extremely important to me, which is why my new streaming show will focus on family.

We’ll have deeper conversations with experts about keeping you and your loved ones safe, helping your children thrive, and educating you about scams and rip-offs so neither you nor your loved ones are tricked.
I will also work to get you answers to your questions as part of our series of reports called Justice 4 All.
We discuss crime prevention, the law and what is legal and what is not.
I hope you will join me. You can find my streaming show on our free app, News4JAX+, or by searching News4JAX on YouTube.
