Winter Park lights up for the holidays as the Morse Museum and City of Winter Park team up for their 47th annual Christmas in the Park.
The stars of the night are the museum’s Tiffany stained-glass windows placed throughout Central Park, turning the park into a glowing holiday tableau under the stars. But the crowds also come for live Christmas music from the Bach Festival Choir and Brass Ensemble, snacking and snuggling on blankets and that unmistakable holiday magic, Winter Park-style.
The event is free, and blankets and lawn chairs can be set up as early as 4 p.m., as soon as the windows are installed. And this is an event where you should stake your claim early.
6:15 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 4, Central Park, 150 W. Morse Blvd., Winter Park, cityofwinterpark.org, free.
