If there’s one event during Miami Art Week that is a must for every foodie in town, it’s Family Style Food Festival. It’s the newest foodie festival in town, and it features a lineup of Miami legends that you’ve probably been eyeing already.

Making its debut during Miami Art Week on December 6, from noon to 8 p.m., this family-oriented food festival aims to bring people together through the collective love of food. In honour of its Art Week debut, Nina Chanel Abney, an American artist based in New York, has stepped in as artistic director for Family Style Food Festival Miami.

The festival found prior success in New York City and Los Angeles, making Miami its next foodie destination.

“Miami Art Week is a global stage for creativity, and we’re excited to bring Family Style to the city for this,” Miles Canares, co-founder of Family Style Food Festival, tells New Times. “I’ve been a fan of Miami’s food culture for as long as I can remember, so collaborating with restaurants like Versailles, Tam Tam, Ted’s Burgers, and Miami Slice is an honor. Family Style has always existed where food and art meet, and having Nina Chanel Abney lead our creative direction brings a whole new depth to what we’re building in Miami.”

Tickets range from $15 for general admission to $280 for VIP, which includes entrance to the VIP stand with complimentary bites, merchandise, and an open bar. But it gets even better. The festival found prior success in New York City and Los Angeles, making Miami its next foodie destination.
