Central Florida metal legends Obituary play sold-out show at Conduit

Tampa death metal legends Obituary have spent the bulk of 2025 celebrating seminal album Cause of Death on stages around the world and, appropriately, they’ll be closing out the year tearing through that album in Florida.

The band’s six-date Florida Swamp run will have them playing Miami, Jacksonville, Orlando, Destin and two climactic nights in Tampa. It’ll be a night of memories, as this 1990 album was the band’s breakthrough out of the fetid Florida underground — and a well-deserved one, the record a feral yet technical monster that still stands out as one of the finest DM albums of all time.

We suspect plenty of infamous faces of metal past and present will be at Conduit for the occasion. Again, deservedly. As you might expect, this show is very sold-out. But fuck it, we’re spotlighting it anyway.
