Why can’t sporting/entertainment arenas provide something to eat beside garbage food? Hot dogs, tasteless cardboard pretzels, nachos, chemically treated popcorn! Surely you can do a lot better than this for people who want to eat healthier. And this is not just Orlando. It’s the same everywhere I go.
Albert Park’s lovely gazebo was a College Park welcome that has been replaced by a bus-stop type shelter with a roof too high to provide any protection from sun or rain.
I’m ticked off at the voice-from-nowhere, non-person traffic reporter that “appears” in the morning show on Channel 9. The voice comes on and I change the channel.
I recently went to a popular market in Winter Park to return something from Amazon. The line had about 15 people in it, and there was also a line to use the machine in the lobby entrance. If you scroll down on the options of places to return things, there is a UPS store right across the street.

The flip side

Kudos to RNs Kevin and Alayna of the fourth-floor cardiac unit at AdventHealth Hospital for the extraordinary care they gave my mother. Their compassion, patience and genuine kindness made a world of difference during a very difficult time. You brought a smile to her face and to her heart. Thank you.
What a pleasant surprise to read all flip-side comments on Thanksgiving.
