Former U.S. Rep. David Jolly will hold his first joint public event with former U.S. Rep. Gwen Graham on Thursday during a town hall in St. Petersburg focused on Florida’s affordability pressures, his campaign announced on Wednesday.

Jolly, a Democratic candidate for governor in 2026, will outline proposals aimed at lowering housing, insurance and health care costs. He and Graham will also take questions from voters. The event marks the first time the two former members of Congress will appear together since Jolly entered the race in June.

Campaign officials said more than 100 Democratic elected officials and community leaders have endorsed Jolly, including figures from across the Panhandle, Central Florida and South Florida. The town hall comes as recent polls show Jolly leading or tied with several potential Republican candidates. His campaign reported raising more than $3 million to date.

Graham, a former North Florida congresswoman and 2018 Democratic candidate for governor, later served at the U.S. Department of Education under President Joe Biden. She is the daughter of former Florida Governor and U.S. Senator Bob Graham. She and Jolly served together in Congress and have remained closely aligned on several policy issues.

Thursday’s event will be held at NOVA 535 in downtown St. Petersburg.

Jolly represented Pinellas County in Congress from 2014 to 2017. His campaign platform centers on reducing living costs, expanding access to housing and health care, and steering the state away from cultural and political conflicts.
