Need a place to hang your art? There’s plenty of space for it inside this trophy triplex at Major Food Group’s Villa Miami, which has hit the market for $55 million — just in time for the Art Basel crowds.
The swanky spread in Miami’s Edgewater district comes with 12,752 square feet of interior space and 2,069 square feet of outdoor space over four terraces.
The interiors are by Vicky Charles, who was global head of design at Soho House for 20 years before branching out on her own. As co-founder of Charles & Co., her clients include David and Victoria Beckham.

The triplex is at the top of the 56-story steel and glass tower, which is Major Food Group’s first foray into residential real estate.
It comes with five bedrooms, five baths, two powder rooms — and its own splashy pool. There’s also access to the tower’s rooftop helipad lounge, if you are ever in need of a James Bond-style getaway before flying taxis come to town.
(The building also comes with a marina, bike storage and parking, so you’re covered on all transportation fronts.)

Design details also include a spiral staircase with a two-story window wall overlooking Biscayne Bay.
A main bedroom suite is on the first floor, along with two additional bedrooms. There’s also a corner study with a built-in bar, a recreation room with a marble bar, a home office, a family room, two terraces and a walk-in closet that connects to a laundry room.
The second floor was made for entertaining, with an open chef’s kitchen — designed by Major Food Group’s Mario Carbone — a great room, a formal dining area and a waterfront terrace. There’s also a hidden prep kitchen, a wine cellar and staff rooms.

In addition, all of the interiors have a “European-style” sensibility.
“For years,” Charles told Gimme in a previous interview, “the city has been defined by white marble and chrome.” These residences, however, are a “departure… Every detail — from the travertine marble and rich wood flooring to the soft, ambient lighting — was chosen to create an atmosphere of timeless elegance and effortless livability.”
And, hey, if you are still having a hard time getting a reservation at Carbone, the building will also feature a waterfront restaurant by Major Food Group that will be open to the public — with residents getting “VIP access and priority seating.”
