A New York-based airline will be adding a flight between upstate New York and Fort Myers this spring as it seeks to expand offerings in its home state. Starting March 26, JetBlue will offer service between Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) and Buffalo Niagara International Airport (BUF) in Buffalo, New York.
The flights between RSW and BUF will operate three times a week, on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.
“Upstate New York continues to be a key growth region for JetBlue,” Dave Jehn, JetBlue’s vice president of network planning and airport partnerships, says in a statement. “Today’s announcement is another example of our long-term commitment to our home state.”
JetBlue, which has its headquarters in Long Island City, New York, also recently announced plans to offer service between Syracuse and Fort Lauderdale, as well as between Orlando and Rochester. Both flights will start in March 2026.
To celebrate the new route between BUF and RSW, the airline is offering $59 one-way flights between the two locations if booked by Dec. 5.
