Hit-and-run crash shuts down section of Florida’s Turnpike in Orlando

A hit-and-run crash shut down all of the southbound lanes on Florida’s Turnpike in Orlando.Florida Highway Patrol is on the scene just south of West Sand Lake Road.The lanes are closed from the exit on I-4 down to State Road 528. Traffic cameras debris spread across the Turnpike near the site of the crash.There were injuries reported in the crash.Drivers should give themselves extra time if they are heading in this direction.
