ORLANDO, Fla. – A multi-vehicle crash involving two tractor-trailers has shut down part of Florida’s Turnpike in Orange County. 

The crash happened around 2:30 a.m. in the southbound lanes near mile marker 257 near Interstate 4.

Five vehicles were involved in the crash, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. 

Fuel from one of the trucks spilled onto the road, FHP said. Crews are working to clear the road. 

No life-threatening injuries have been reported, according to FHP.

All southbound lanes of the Turnpike are blocked and traffic is backed up. 

Drivers are urged to avoid the area and take an alternative route.
