DUNNELLON, Fla. (WCJB) – A Dunnellon High School junior received a special surprise Friday morning with the help of Dunkin’ and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Cheerleaders.
Jayliana Lopez-Neumann, a kicker for the school’s football team, recently made school history as the first female player to score points, securing a victory for the Tigers with a game-winning field goal.
Dunkin’, the official coffee of the Buccaneers, hosted a school-wide celebration to surprise Jayliana with four tickets to the “She Is Football” game on Dec. 7, honoring women’s contributions in football.
“Jayliana’s story embodies courage, confidence and the power of breaking barriers,” said Emilly Bartels, Dunkin’ field marketing manager. “The She Is Football game celebrates trailblazers like her, and we’re thrilled to honor that spirit with a Dunkin’ surprise for Jayliana and her classmates.”
Dunkin’ planned this surprise in collaboration with Dunnellon High School, Jayliana’s coach and her parents.
