TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — No. 18 Notre Dame (5-2) will start the ACC season this weekend, as the Irish head to Florida State (4-6) for a Sunday matinee. The game tips off at 2 p.m. on ACCNX.

NOTES

Hidalgo leads the nation with 6.0 steals per game and ranks second with 27.1 points per game.
Notre Dame has six players averaging at least 2.0 steals. No other ACC school has more than one on its roster.
Vanessa de Jesus has played an integral part in the Irish offense and defense this season. She entered the season (102 career games at Duke) with just four games of 3+ steals. She already has five such games this year. De Jesus also posted six assists against both Central Michigan and Ole Miss, the first time with back-to-back 6+ assist games since November 2021.
Malaya Cowles has lead the Irish in rebounding in back-to-back games, and she leads the team with 9.1 rebounds per 40 minutes played. KK Bransford in the per/game leader with 6.4 on the year.
Notre Dame is the only team in the ACC with two players shooting better than 48 percent — Cassandre Prosper (53.6) and Hidalgo (48.3).
The Irish are 8-4 in ACC opener since joining the conference.
Notre Dame is 13-2 all-time against Florida State and 5-1 on the road. The Irish won the last meeting at the Tucker Center, a double overtime 98-94 victory in February 2024.
