CAPE CORAL, Florida — Two juveniles have been arrested in connection with a series of vehicle burglaries and a stolen vehicle incident in Cape Coral, according to the Cape Coral Police Department. The suspects, identified as 13-year-old Cali Hill and 13-year-old Lazette Porter, were also linked to the theft of two firearms.

Between October 10 and 12, 2025, officers responded to multiple reports of overnight vehicle burglaries in residential areas. The suspects targeted unlocked sedans and SUVs, stealing personal items, credit cards, and two handguns. A late-model sedan was also stolen and later found abandoned in the city. Surveillance footage captured two juvenile females entering vehicles during the incidents, leading to the identification of Hill and Porter.

The juveniles were observed driving the stolen vehicle and possessing items belonging to burglary victims, stopping at various McDonald’s and gas stations. On October 12, 2025, with assistance from the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, officers located Lazette Porter at a residence in North Fort Myers, recovering two stolen handguns. Cali Hill was arrested at her residence by Cape Coral patrol officers.

Both juveniles face charges including grand theft of a motor vehicle, armed burglary of a conveyance, burglary of an unoccupied conveyance, grand theft of a firearm, and petit theft, stated the Cape Coral Police Department.
