After weeks of speculation on the chances of the Miami Hurricanes earning a spot in the 12-team College Football Playoff for the 2025 season, the speculation ended on Sunday afternoon.

The Hurricanes (10-2) were selected as the No. 10 seed in the playoff and will travel to No. 7 seed Texas A&M (11-1) for a first-round game on Saturday, Dec. 20 at noon Eastern on ABC and ESPN.
