Their arrests come after police responded to a scene early Friday morning in the Fallschase neighborhood, police papers wrote.
Officers responded to the scene after neighbors said they saw Benson and Holgate trying to break into locked mailboxes.
As a result, officers searched the suspects’ jeep and found a trash bag filled with mail and debit cards, per court papers.
The court records also went on to reveal that Benson and Holgate may be involved in several other reports of mail theft in August and September.
