Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is speaking at a news conference on the environment in North Miami Beach on Tuesday.

The governor will be joined by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection Secretary Alexis Lambert, officials said.

The exact topic of the news conference was not immediately disclosed, but a sign before the podium read: “Protecting Biscayne Bay.”
