Two children who went missing in Fort Lauderdale were found safe on Thursday, police said.

The children were last seen around 11 a.m. Thursday in the 1600 block of Southwest 22nd Avenue, Fort Lauderdale Police said.

It was believed they may be with their father, Bradley Stevenson, police said.

By around 6 p.m., police said the children were found safe.

Police said officers and SWAT members had responded to a home on Southwest 22nd Avenue after receiving a domestic call for service involving someone who barricaded themself in the home.

“The investigation on whether criminal charges in this investigation are applicable remain ongoing,” police said in a statement.
