Fronts to sweep through Central Florida. Here’s what it means for your forecast

  • December 10, 2025

ORLANDO, Fla. – High pressure over the area weakens Wednesday as a cold front approaches the eastern U.S., allowing skies to gradually clear.

A persistent layer of clouds will finally erode through the day, with highs across Central Florida trying to reach the low 70s. Outside of a few sprinkles, conditions remain dry through late week.

Thursday & Friday

A new front arrives early Thursday, bringing a brief cooldown by the afternoon.

Highs are expected to dip into the mid-60s north of Orlando and the upper 60s to lower 70s across the remainder of Central Florida.

Overnight lows follow suit with a more noticeable drop. Temperatures fall into the mid-40s to low 50s Thursday morning, then a bit colder Friday morning, in the low to mid-40s.

By the weekend, high pressure rebuilds as temperatures rebound into the mid- to upper 70s.

By late Sunday, another cold front moves through.

High pressure quickly strengthens behind the front late Sunday, bringing breezy northeast winds.

After highs in the mid- to upper 70s Sunday, cooler air arrives, with afternoon temperatures in the upper 60s early next week.
