JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – A man was arrested after he warrants say he repeatedly went to stores in Jacksonville and stole electronics and other items.
28-year-old Voici Siance was arrested by Jacksonville police overnight for a string of thefts from Best Buy and Walmart dating back to September.
Court records say Siance stole from Best Buy on at least five different occasions between September and November.
Warrants say some of the items include a FitBit smartwatch, several sets of headphones, a Motorola cell phone, a gaming controller and a Ring camera.
Siance stole at least $3,000 worth of items, according to court records.
He’s additionally being accused of taking a portable power station from Walmart.
Warrants also say the man broke into a tobacco shop and stole more than $380 worth of cigarettes in November.
Siance has been charged with the following:
Eight counts of larceny by removing, destroying, or deactivating anti-shoplifting/inventory control devicesTen counts of possession of stolen goodsTwo counts of larcenyBreaking and enteringLarceny after breaking and enteringInjury to real propertyCarrying a concealed weapon
Siance was taken to the Onslow County Jail under a total $187,000 bond. He posted a $1,000 bond for his weapon charge.
