TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – This Sunday marks the first night of Chanukah and Chabad of Tallahassee and FSU are gearing up with several ways to celebrate.
The celebration begins at Cascades Park Sunday night with a Menorah lighting.
This year, guests are encouraged to donate scarves and mittens as they try to fill up a giant Menorah’s worth.
The Menorah lighting starts at 5 p.m.
There will also be arts and crafts, Chanukkah games, live music and dancing.
On Tuesday, they’ll host their annual Tallahassee Menorah Parade.
Cars will meet at the Village Square Publix at 5 p.m. and ride festively down to Chabad House right next to FSU off Chapel Drive.
