TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Today’s something good is thanks to generosity from the Big Bend community!
WCTV’s Red Kettle Takeover Day was Thursday, and a total of $3,575.17 was collected in person and online for The Salvation Army of Tallahassee!

Thursday marked WCTV’s 12th takeover, and this year brings our total over the past 11 years $65,000!
The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle campaign is the organization’s largest annual fundraiser. The money, raised during the kettle season, will fund programs to help families in Leon, Gadsden and Wakulla counties throughout 2026.
