I’m ticked off that a new medication commercial on TV says, “Do not take if you are allergic to this.” How are you supposed to know if you are allergic unless you take it?
I am concerned about the individual in a recent Ticked Off column who described a 5:30 p.m. sunset as “madness.” Friend, it is the natural way of things that sunsets are earlier in December. Take heart. The earliest sunset was Dec. 1. They continue to occur later.
I agree that bands participating in the Macy’s parade were rushed through their songs. And some floats weren’t even shown because they cut to a commercial. As for the Rose parade, they have done the same thing in the past. Last year, I did a split screen and watched the Rose parade on NBC and on Fox. Fox showed a lot more coverage.
I am beyond ticked off at my husband of 53 years! Our whole marriage, I have taken charge of the finances, investing, saving and handling the bills. In two days, he damaged both of our cars and he decided we need to buy a new car. He previously had rear-ended someone, so his driving is now questionable. He decided what he wanted and I just found out he took $40,000 out of our investments to purchase one. It is a real punch in the gut to find out he doesn’t respect me enough to discuss this decision. Makes me wonder what other secrets he has.
