Sweet Tomatoes shut down all locations nationwide during the COVID-19 pandemic after filing for bankruptcy. The brand has since reopened a location in Tucson, Arizona, and is planning additional returns, including Fort Myers.
Company officials have not announced an opening date.
The chain was known for its affordable, all-you-can-eat salads, soups and baked goods, and was especially popular with families, seniors and seasonal residents.
