PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (CBS12) — Friends, family, and neighbors are coming together Saturday to honor the memory of Emma Riddle, a bright and beloved 6-year-old whose life was tragically cut short following a go-kart crash on December 6.
Emma passed away following an incident at Urban Air Adventure Park, where the family’s attorney alleged that a go-kart malfunction caused a fatal crash during a family celebration. While investigations continue, the focus this weekend will be on celebrating the joy Emma brought to everyone who knew her.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on December 13, at 10 a.m. at Calvary Chapel PSL at 5555 NW St. James Drive. The church has opened its doors to all who wish to pay their respects.
Emma’s family describes her as “full of life, love, and light,” a child whose faith was strong and whose kindness touched every soul she met. “She loved God with all her heart,” they shared. “Her laughter and warmth will forever remain in our hearts.”
The service will include prayers, music, and personal tributes, offering a space for the community to grieve together and celebrate Emma’s short but meaningful life. Attendees are encouraged to bring memories and stories to share as the family honors their “beautiful angel.”
