Cape Coral Toastmasters Club #9051 is kicking off the season with a festive, fun holiday social Monday, Dec. 15 at 6:30 p.m. Themed “Merry, Bright & Off-the-Cuff,” the event will take place at Kapua Kava Bar, at 12951 Metro Parkway, Suite 15, Fort Myers.
The evening includes a White Elephant Gift Exchange with a twist. No shopping is needed; guests simply bring something they already own, wrapped to keep the surprise alive. The funny, unexpected or heartwarming stories behind these items will spark the club’s special holiday edition of “Tipsy Topics,” a playful take on impromptu speaking that always brings out big laughs.
Attendees are welcome to bring a treat to share, and friends, spouses, visiting family and members of other Toastmasters clubs are invited.
The event is open to the public, and anyone curious about Toastmasters will find a friendly, upbeat atmosphere with no pressure to speak.
