Above normal highs this weekend in Southeast Georgia, Northeast Florida, before the big chill arrives Monday morning

  • December 14, 2025

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Mostly sunny skies will prevail, and temperatures will warm into the low 70s in Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia. Sunday will begin the same way before an Arctic blast sinks into our region by late Sunday night.

Dry weather continues throughout the day, with light east winds.

Sunday’s weather will be an improvement over last weekend’s washout! Jags fans will be happy to know that the game temperature will be in the low 70s under mostly sunny skies.

Then … Arctic weather drops into Southeast Georgia and Northeast Florida with increasing chilly and gusty winds out of the northwest following a frontal passage. Wind chills will dip into the upper teens as temperatures plummet into the 20s inland Southeast Georgia, lower 30s inland Northeast Florida Sunday night into Monday morning.

Time of lowest wind chills: 5 a.m. to 8 a.m. Monday.

Arctic blast

Make plans now to be prepared for Impact Weather by bringing in/covering your sensitive plants, taking care of outdoor pets and pipes, and taking care of any people who may need additional assistance. If you need to be outdoors, wear multiple layers.
