TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A Tallahassee man is set to spend four years in federal prison on weapons charges, according to a U.S. Attorney’s Office of the Northern District of Florida press release.
Anthony Davis Jr., 21, was sentenced for owning a gun as a felon and for owning a machine gun.

In court documents from July and October 2024, the Tallahassee Police Department wrote that they caught Davis with a Glock that had been turned into a machine gun.
Police also said Davis has five prior felony convictions, including two for aggravated assault with a firearm. Once out of prison, Davis is expected to be on supervised release for four years.
