Island residents are welcoming the new week under a Wind Advisory and a rainy morning. Gusting winds out of the NE at 20 to 30 mph are expected for much of the day, with the advisory in place until 7 p.m. Monday.

After the morning rains, the day will remain cloudy with showers again expected in the afternoon. Today’s high will be around 74 with winds making it feel 5-6 degrees cooler. Chance of rain is 90% with up to a quarter of an inch expected.

Tonight, cloudy early with some clearing expected late. Low 69 degrees and NE winds at 15 to 25 mph.

Tuesday, partly cloudy skies, a high around 74 degrees and windy, with gusting NE winds at 15 to 25 mph.
