ORLANDO, Fla. – Monday is shaping up to be a windy and cool day across Central Florida as a strong cold front clears the area.
A Wind Advisory remains in effect through 9 a.m. for areas east of I-95 as coastal wind gusts reach 35-40 mph.
While winds will ease slightly by the afternoon, it will remain breezy with winds hovering between 15 to 20 mph.

The strong onshore winds are also creating dangerous beach and boating conditions.
There is a high risk of rip currents into Monday night.
High Surf Advisory also is in effect as large 7 to 9-foot breaking waves will produce rough surf and minor beach erosion.
Cloudy to mostly cloudy skies will dominate as low clouds move in off the Atlantic. A few isolated showers or sprinkles are possible, especially closer to the coast, where rain chances are around 20-30%.

Temperatures will feel noticeably cooler than normal, especially with the persistent breeze. Highs will struggle to get out of the 60s. Monday night will be cool again, with lows falling into the mid- to upper 40s northwest of I-4 and mainly the 50s for coastal and southern areas.
This Week
Looking ahead to Tuesday and Wednesday, conditions begin to improve. High pressure shifts offshore, allowing winds to gradually relax.
Temperatures will steadily warm, with highs reaching the low 70s Tuesday and climbing to near 80 by the end of the week.
