DORAL, FL — One of America’s best restaurant offerings is on the menu at a Florida eatery, according to a new list from The New York Times.
The Times said its staffers visited 33 states and ate more than 200 meals in search of the best restaurants in the country, and from that chose “The 23 Best Restaurant Dishes We Ate Across the U.S. in 2025.”
The cachapa griddle cake offerings at Frank Cachapas in Doral were included in the prestigious list for its
“You don’t need to try all 10 cachapas on the menu to believe you’ll be satisfied regardless of which you choose. All feature Frank Cachapas’s exemplary, hot-from-the-griddle corn cakes and an oozing portion of queso de mano, a fresh Venezuelan cheese,” wrote Times reviewer Brett Anderson. “Relax and enjoy yours at one of the many shaded tables in the parking lot outside this food truck. The service bests what’s found at many brick-and-mortar restaurants.
