No one injured after Leon County mobile home catches fire Tuesday morning

  • December 17, 2025

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – No one was injured after a mobile home in Leon County burst into flames Tuesday morning.

The fire fully engulfed the home located at the 700 block of Aenon Church Road at about 8:30 a.m., according to the Tallahassee Fire Department.

Before firefighters arrived, two adults were able to escape the fire safely, TFD says.

Crews temporarily closed the roadway to extinguish the blaze, according to the fire department.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

The fire marks the eighth red bulb in TFD’s Keep the Wreath Green initiative, which tracks residential structure fires during the holiday season.

Over the weekend, TFD responded to two house fires, and no injuries were reported.
