Florida State‘s 2025 receiving room had many players involved, given the team’s spread-focused offense, but a few stood out as their top options.

Combined, the team caught 200 receptions for 3,041 yards and 20 touchdowns in total. It was an offense that finished in the top 10 nationally with 472.1 yards per game, but unbelievably, it could only win just five games this season.

It’s not for a lack of trying. The Seminoles put up spirited fights against teams they lost to, like Miami and Pittsburgh, but also put up complete embarrassments like losses to Stanford and a 3-8 Florida team. It was an entirely forgettable year, with the exception of taking down the Alabama Crimson Tide to open the season.

The infusion of receivers from the transfer portal, like WR Duce Robinson from USC and Squirrel White from Tennessee, certainly helped. The offensive line portal additions also gave quarterback Tommy Castellanos time to find the receivers. Center Luke Petitbon was credited with an All-ACC selection for his efforts.

Here are the receivers who shined for the Seminoles in the 2025 season.

Robinson was the bright spot of the offense and a reliable pass catcher, catching touchdowns against East Texas A&M and one against Virginia, Wake Forest, and NC State. His 1,081 receiving yards were the 9th most yards ever by an FSU wideout and the first time they have had a player surpass 1,000 yards since Rashad Greene in 2014.

Danzy felt like the guy that Castellanos could always find deep down the field, as he made numerous “wow” inducing plays. A 32-yard reception and a touchdown in the Alabama game did not disappoint.

Pittman led all FSU tight ends in yards and receptions, just tying with Landen Thomas in the touchdown count. He was a very reliable pass-catching option.
