Lake Seminole Square honors 85 volunteers
SEMINOLE — Lake Seminole Square celebrated 85 remarkable volunteers during a special event held in honor of National Volunteer Day.
Residents and staff gathered to express appreciation for the individuals who generously give their time, talents, and compassion to enrich daily life throughout the community. The celebration featured festive appetizers and cocktails, heartfelt thank you messages, and thoughtful gifts presented to each volunteer as a token of gratitude.
“Our volunteers are the heart of our community,” said Josh Sutherland, executive director at Lake Seminole Square. “They bring joy, comfort, entertainment, and friendship to our residents every single day. This celebration is just one small way to honor the tremendous impact they make.”
The 85 volunteers recognized support a wide range of programs — including reading groups, social clubs, spiritual services, one-on-one visits, special events, and countless behind-the-scenes contributions that create a warm and connected environment for all residents.
Guests enjoyed an afternoon of good food, uplifting conversation, and sincere appreciation. Volunteers also received personalized gifts acknowledging their commitment and the many hours they dedicate throughout the year.
