Since 2002, The Great West Chase and its sponsors have hosted a competitive field of racers, walkers, families, and kids from all over Tampa Bay. Organized by WOW magazine, the race benefits area elementary schools. Wesley Chapel Fall Festival

The Grove at Wesley Chapel, Wesley Grove Blvd. Come and check out the world’s largest food truck rally, featuring over 50 food trucks offering a diverse array of delicious options. 9th Annual Riverwalk Trick or Treat

4-7 p.m. Oct. 25. Cotanchobee Park, 601 Water St., Tampa. Families can expect a spooky night of trick or treating, a costume contest, a Thriller flash mob, a Halloween-themed market and a movie on the lawn featuring “Monsters, Inc.” The movie will start at 7:30 p.m. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs.
