The St. Pete Police Department said the vehicle was found submerged in the Bay near the intersection of 62nd Avenue Northeast and Bayou Grande Boulevard Northeast.
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — The St. Petersburg Police Department has launched an investigation after a man was found dead inside of a vehicle submerged in water Saturday morning.
The police department said a caller reported shortly before 7:30 a.m. that a pickup truck was upside down in the Bay, “several feet from the shore,” near 62nd Avenue Northeast and Bayou Grande Boulevard Northeast.
Police said the truck has not been reported stolen. No other details have been provided from officials.
