Former manager at doctor’s office accused of stealing more than $500,000 from employer

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV/Gray News) – A Florida woman accused of stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from her employer has been arrested.

Regina Peacock is charged with grand theft and organized fraud, according to Leon County court documents.

Arrest records show Peacock was an office manager at a Tallahassee doctor’s office.

Peacock allegedly made duplicate employee profiles in payroll systems to get paid extra.

Between January 2018 and March 2025, Peacock allegedly paid herself $509,633, according to arrest records.

Peacock claimed she was helping a homeless woman for several years.
