Your weekend is here, Central Florida! Here’s a look at the news and what events are going on in the area.

After a chilly start this morning, temperatures rebound nicely this afternoon. A cold front has slipped south of the area, briefly knocking temperatures down. With plenty of sunshine, highs climb back into the 70s across Central Florida. Skies stay mostly clear and rain-free, making for favorable conditions for local travel.

Overnight, skies remain mostly clear. Temperatures cool back down into the 40s across the far northern counties and 50s to low 60s for the rest of the area.

High pressure over the southeast keeps the weather pattern mild and dry as we start off winter. Sunday, mostly clear skies will continue with slightly warmer temperatures. Highs will return into the upper 70s for Orlando.
