Alan was born on May 4, 1964, in Cattaraugus County, New York to Arthur Estus and Harriet Strong. His father precedes him in death.
Alan is survived by his mother, Harriet Strong; daughter, Stephanie Estus; siblings, Jay Estus, Teresa Anderson, Renee Bird, Arthur Estus, Timothy Estus, and Leanne Strong; and several extended family and great friends.
