A person was rushed to the hospital after they were electrocuted while picking fruit in Miami Gardens on Saturday, officials said.
The incident happened near the 500 block of Northwest 189th Terrace.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue officials said the person was electrocuted by a powerline while trying to pick fruit from trees.
The person was airlifted to a local hospital as a trauma alert, officials said.
Officials haven’t released any other information, including the person’s identity.
