One teen was killed and a second teen injured Friday in a shooting in North Tampa.
Officers responded about 11:30 p.m. to a report of gunfire in the 800 block of East 114th Avenue and found two people in their late teens, both male, suffering from gunshot wounds, according to the Tampa Police Department.
One of the teens died at the scene, and the second was taken to a local hospital with injuries that police said were not life-threatening.
Detectives do not believe the shooting was random, police said. No other information has been released.
