Paddlefish Restaurant Closed Unexpectedly at Disney Springs
According to Cast Members at the location, Paddlefish was open yesterday, but did not open today. A tip into BlogMickey.com suggests that a sewage leak was to blame for an early closure last evening and the continued closure today.
Signage at the entrance to the restaurant said “closed for a private event”, but there were no guests inside that we could see.
Cast Members at the location did not divulge the reason for the closure, and Walt Disney World has not responded to a request for more information about the closure.
As of publish time, the My Disney Experience app was not showing any available reservations for today at Paddlefish, but reservations are available starting tomorrow.
Paddlefish can’t seem to catch a break this year, having been the victim of an unbelievable swim-up heist back in September. The restaurant was reportedly robbed by a man in scuba gear. The man reportedly escaped via the nearby Lake Buena Vista body of water.
