ORLANDO, Fla. — Five things to know about ICON Park’s Winter Wonderland

If your family and friends are coming to town for Christmas, it’s so easy to break the bank — given all the holiday happenings. But there’s an I-Drive entertainment district with free access and parking, which could set you off at the right pace.

1. ICON Park is sprinkling in a whole bunch of Christmastime experiences, activities, and visuals. “We like to be the headquarters for the holidays in Orlando,” said ICON Park president and CEO Chris Jaskiewicz.

2. The Santa Workshop Experience has snuggled into the base of The Wheel. “It started in the COVID year, if you’ll remember, and we’ve built up a lot of loyalty around Santa,” Jaskiewicz said.

3. Next door to The Wheel is the Museum of Illusions. It has a huge indoor snow globe for guests to step inside of and capture the perfect family shot.

4. ICON Park also has a light and music show. Live carolers sing holiday favorites from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. every Saturday in December, and each night from Dec. 23-25.

5. The 20-acre ICON Park remains a holiday wonderland through Dec. 31. Expect nightly snowfalls and at 50 feet high, the area’s tallest decorated tree.
