The Jacksonville Jaguars have reached a new high point in ESPN’s Week 17 NFL power rankings.
After coming in at No. 6 a week ago, the Jaguars are now No. 5 after their latest road victory over the Denver Broncos.
The four teams ahead of the Jaguars are Seattle, the LA Rams, New England, and Denver.
Having won six games in a row, the Jaguars are 11-4 on the season. They hold a one-game lead over the 10-5 Houston Texans in the AFC South and could potentially clinch the division title this week.
In the overall AFC playoff picture, the Jaguars are the three seed and remain very much in the mix for the conference’s No. 1 seed.
