MIAMI, Fla. (CBS12) — Frontier Airlines is offering new nonstop flights from Miami International Airport to El Salvador and Honduras, with fares starting as low as $48.

On Dec. 19, the airline launched service to El Salvador International Airport in San Salvador and began flights to Ramón Villeda Morales International Airport in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. The additions bring Frontier’s nonstop destinations from Miami to 26, reinforcing its rapid growth across the U.S., Caribbean, and Latin America, according to the news release.

Service to San Salvador begins December 19 with three flights per week, while service to San Pedro Sula starts December 20 with weekly flights. Introductory fares are subject to availability and restrictions; details can be found at flyfrontier.com.

The new flights are part of Frontier’s broader initiative, “The New Frontier,” according to the news release. Tickets for the promotional fares must be purchased by December 30 for travel between January 5 and April 13, 2026, excluding blackout dates.
