When Naples Daily News and Fort Myers News-Press photojournalist Andrew West is not documenting events, high school sports or assignments for news, he enjoys documenting nature.

West monitors a remote camera trap system that he has set up at Corkscrew Regional Ecosystem Watershed where he captures all kinds of wildlife from Florida panthers to opossum. Beyond that, he is always on the lookout for the beauty that Southwest Florida has to offer.
