DAVIE, Fla. — An individual was killed early Friday morning in a single-vehicle crash in Davie, police confirmed.
Officers with the Davie Police Department said they responded to the 4600 block of South University Drive, where the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Traffic detectives were called in to investigate.
The crash occurred on University Drive north of Griffin Road. All lanes were closed as of 6:37 a.m. while the investigation continued.
No other details about the victim or circumstances surrounding the crash were immediately released.
